Well by Design is a wellbeing interior design studio in Victoria, BC. Environmental psychology, biophilic design, and trauma-informed design guide the work. We design homes, cohousing and affordable housing, clinics and wellness centres, and workplaces across Vancouver Island, the Southern Gulf Islands and British Columbia.

Wellbeing Interior design for healthy, beautiful and highly functioning spaces

Full Interior Design Service:

For renovations and new builds, it is a flat fee, agreed before the work begins. We calculate it by the square footage or by the estimated design hours the project needs.

Where the fee is calculated by area, three levels reflect how much custom design the client needs:

  • Essential. A complete design, specified with restraint.

  • Detailed. More custom elements and a deeper level of specification.

  • Bespoke. Custom design throughout, drawn and specified in full.

We support work with a mission to improve people's lives, foster community and protect the natural world.

  • Not-for-profit & community projects: 10% discount.

  • Regenerative: Sliding scale for ecovillages, educational centres, and projects with limited budgets but meaningful vision.
