West Coast With Arches, Salt Spring Island

The clients came with a pre-designed home package—a standard west coast box—and a vision the original architects couldn't realize: they wanted arches. After several unsatisfactory attempts, a builder recommended bringing in fresh perspective.

The design transforms all facades, introducing arches and circular forms in a modern way that complements rather than conflicts with the west coast style. The garage—originally a plain box—received architectural detailing that brings it into conversation with the rest of the home. Currently under construction.
