We bring direct experience of retreat centers and healing spaces, which shapes how we approach every project: understanding what makes someone feel safe enough to open, what supports deep work, how space can invite rather than demand, and how design serves both the practice and the people it's meant to serve. We create healing and nurturing spaces using the most potent design and natural elements.
Each project begins with understanding the specific vision, values, and approach of the practice. A yoga studio needs different qualities than a trauma-informed therapy center. A destination retreat center has different requirements than an urban wellness clinic. We attend to the wholeness of the experience—from the moment someone arrives through every interaction with the space, ensuring design serves the deeper purpose of the work.
Our Services
Renovation Design - Comprehensive planning including concept development for interior and exterior, space planning, selection of all materials and finishes, lighting, and specialized areas like treatment rooms, yoga studios, and meditation spaces. Interior Design for new construction - Selection of finishes, materials, products, lighting, and design of specialized wellness spaces. Furnishing and Decorating - Furniture, art, collections, wallpaper, window coverings, lighting, and indoor plants that create the right atmosphere for healing and practice.
Consultation - We provide specialized expertise in wellbeing interior design and biophilic design for wellness businesses, retreat centers, yoga studios, and healing practitioners. We support projects in aligning physical space with brand identity, practice philosophy, and the experience clients need to have. Our services help create environments where both practitioners and clients can thrive.
Our Process
1- Exploration & Discovery
This is the most critical phase of the entire process. We begin by understanding the vision, values, and approach of the practice. What is this space meant to offer? Who will it serve? What kind of experience needs to happen here? We explore the business model, brand identity, target clients, and the specific outcomes the space needs to support. We also spend time with the space itself—understanding the land or existing structure, the energy, the light, what's already present. This foundation ensures the design serves both the practice and the experience clients need to have.
2- Conceptual Design
This is where the design begins to take form. We explore floor plans that support operational flow and client experience, develop palettes and materials that align with the brand and create the right atmosphere, and research products and systems. This phase is collaborative—refining through conversation until what emerges truly serves the vision. We provide 2D and 3D drawings that show how the space can work and feel.
3- Detailed Design & Construction Drawings
Once the conceptual design is finalized, we fine-tune every detail. We create detailed floor plans, elevation drawings, and 3D renderings—everything builders and trades need to execute the design precisely. We develop comprehensive product specification documents with all technical information. Everything gets revised and re-examined until it's perfect.
4- Project Coordination
Construction always brings unexpected challenges. We stay available throughout, answering questions, developing solutions, exploring alternatives when needed. We ensure no shortcuts are taken and no details overlooked, coordinate with trades and builders, and support clients through what can be a stressful process. When conflicts emerge, we work through them.
5- Setting It All Up
After construction is complete and furniture and accessories are delivered, we bring everything together—staging and styling the space so it's ready to welcome clients. Not all projects require this final phase, but when it does happen, it transforms the space from finished construction to a sanctuary that's truly complete.
